Bayern Munich won the Champions League on Sunday after a narrow 1-0 victory against Paris Saint-Germain, with Kingsley Coman scoring the solitary goal after a cross from Joshua Kimmich.

Goals were predicted before the game, but it turned out to be a much cagier affair, but with Bayern dominating in terms of control of the ball.

What was Kimmich's overall display like?

📷 Match Snapshot

No player was utterly fantastic on the evening, but the German was excellent in just about every area.

Throughout the first hour, the game was crying out for a moment of quality to break the deadlock, and it came in the 59th minute.

A ⏱️ 59' Thiago, who was also one of the best players on the night, finds a bit of space in midfield to flash a pass into the feet of Kimmich, who subsequently slides a pass down the right for Serge Gnabry. After a touch inside the box from Robert Lewandowski, the ball comes back to Kimmich, who clips a gorgeous cross to the back post for Coman to nod home.

Kimmich provided the key moment of quality, but in order to gauge his contribution, we need to look at a few of his performance metrics from the evening.
