The second weekend of the Bundesliga return following the worldwide pandemic took place at the weekend, with several teams impressing with comfortable wins.
Dortmund defeated Wolfsburg 2-0, Bayern put five past Eintracht Frankfurt with a 5-2 win, but the most impressive performance saw RB Leipzig comfortably dispatch of Mainz following a 5-0 victory.
They are the best-represented team in our best XI of the week:
Werder Bremen secured their most important win of the season so far in their battle against relegation, winning 1-0 away at Freiburg. Key to that was goalkeeper, Jiri Pavlenka (8.8), who made a sensational seven saves to earn his clean sheet.
In defence, Hertha Berlin team-mates Dedryck Boyata (9) and Marvin Plattenhardt (8.6) feature, with the Belgian scoring their fourth goal in the win over Union Berlin, while the left-back recorded two assists.
Joining the Hertha duo in the backline is Lukasz Piszczek of Dortmund following the 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, and Toni Leistner (8.1) of Koln.
Into midfield and attack is where RB Leipzig begin to dominate the lineup.
In midfield, Kevin Kampl (9.4) makes the cut after his superb outing against Mainz. In his 70 minutes in the match, he completed a superb 73/77 attempted passes to team-mates for a completion rate of 95%, while he enjoyed 85 touches overall. Team-mate Marcel Sabitzer (9.1) features after a goal and an assist, too.
After an assist against Gladbach, as well as an excellent pass completion rate of 88% and 8/13 duels won, Kerem Demirbay joins the midfield three.
The attack is led by Timo Werner (10) who was the Bundesliga Performer of the Week after his hat-trick against Mainz.

Back to Hertha, now, and Vedad Ibisevic (8.9) makes up the XI after his goal in the Berlin derby.
