With the Premier League title race so close between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City at the moment, every point earned could prove vital between now and the end of the season.

The Gunners face a tough task in their attempts to claim all three against Brighton, who are on a 14-game unbeaten streak at the Amex Stadium.

The home side are ninth, looking to qualify for Europe once again.

Current Form

Brighton's Current Form

Brighton haven't actually played at the Amex in nearly a month as the last time was the Europa League second-leg win against Roma that turned out not to matter much anyway.

Since then they have had two games on the road and failed to win. A 2-1 defeat at Liverpool was followed by a 0-0 draw away at Brentford.

In the draw against Brentford, the Seagulls actually set a new club record in the Premier League for the most shots taken on goal (24) in a single game without finding the back of the net.

Goalscoring has become a real problem as you need to go back eight games to find an occasion when they scored more than once in a game.

Arsenal's Current Form

Arsenal are on a sensational run in the Premier League and have only failed to win once in 2024 and that was in the 0-0 draw against defending champions Manchester City.

They are unbeaten in 10 and won nine of those.

Last time out, Mikel Arteta made a raft of changes to the team to freshen things up, but they still ran out relatively comfortable 2-0 winners at home to Luton, with a Martin Odegaard strike and an own-goal from Daiki Hashioka sealing the win.

Team News

Brighton Team News

Evan Ferguson missed the Brentford game due to an ankle knock, but is believed he could be passed fit to play Arsenal, who, if reports are to be believed, could make a move for him in the summer.

Roberto De Zerbi will almost certainly be without Solly March, Kaoru Mitoma, Billy Gilmour, Jack Hinshelwood and James Milner, however.

Arsenal Team News

Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice were rested for the win against Luton but both are expected to be reinstated into the starting XI here, at the expense of Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith-Rowe.

Gabriel Martinelli hasn't started the last couple of games so he could be recalled along with Jorginho.

Jurrien Timber is the only long-term absentee.
