Arsenal will look to strengthen their position in the Premier League title race when they face Brighton on Saturday evening.

The Gunners are on a sensational run in the league and have only failed to win once in 2024 and that was in the recent 0-0 draw against defending champions Manchester City.

They face a Brighton side who are unbeaten at home in 14 matches across all competitions, though, so this one certainly isn't a foregone conclusion for Mikel Arteta's side.

Brighton Team News and predicted XI

Irish striker Evan Ferguson missed the Brentford game due to an ankle knock, but is believed he could be passed fit to play Arsenal, who, if reports are to be believed, could make a move for him in the summer.

Roberto De Zerbi will almost certainly be without Solly March, Kaoru Mitoma, Billy Gilmour, Jack Hinshelwood and James Milner, however.

Top scorer Joao Pedro could drop slightly deeper to allow for the inclusion of Ferguson, while Joel Veltman might be replaced by Tariq Lamptey.

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Lamptey, Van Hecke, Dunk, Estupinan; Gross, Baleba; Buonanotte, Pedro, Adingra; Ferguson.

Arsenal Team News and predicted XI

Bukayo Saka, Jorginho and Declan Rice were rested for the win against Luton but all are expected to be reinstated into the starting XI here, at the expense of Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith-Rowe and Thomas Partey.

Gabriel Martinelli hasn't started the last couple of games so he could be recalled, with Leandro Trossard dropping to the bench against his former club.

Jurrien Timber is the only long-term absentee.

Arsenal (4-3-3): Raya; White, Gabriel, Saliba, Kiwior; Rice, Jorginho, Odegaard; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.
