Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that the club have received zero offers for star midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The former Barcelona La Masia graduate has excelled in Germany since being recruited by Pep Guardiola in 2013, with him winning the league every single season he has played in the Bundesliga.
However, reports indicate that he is looking for a new challenge, with Liverpool mentioned as the strongest suitors for his services, while Manchester United and Chelsea have also registered an interest.
The rumours surrounding a move to Anfield have intensified over the last two weeks following Liverpool’s title triumph.
But, according to Bayern themselves, they haven’t received a bid from Jurgen Klopp’s side - or anyone else.
"Hasan [Salihamidzic, sporting director] had talks with Thiago,” said Rummenigge on Thursday.
“They were always very positive, but he told Hasan some time ago that he wants to do something new to finish his career.
"So far no club has contacted us. We don't know if he's settled things with a new club.”
Bayern coach Hansi Flick has previously admitted that Thiago wishes to “experience another big league” before his career begins to wind down.
The fee for the playmaker will likely be between €25 and €30m.
