The agent of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has blamed manager Mikel Arteta for the Arsenal striker’s poor scoring record this season.
Despite scoring 22 league goals in each of the last two Premier League seasons, Aubameyang has struggled badly this campaign and has found the net just twice.
He again fired blanks during Arsenal’s 2-0 defeat against rivals Tottenham in the north London derby on Sunday, a result that leaves the Gunners languishing in 15th position.
After the game, Arteta was critical of his team’s inability to score, saying their 10 goals this season was “unsustainable”.
However, Aubameyang’s agent Kwaku Mensah has shifted the blame onto the Arsenal manager.
In an Instagram story, Mensah printed a number of statistics that showed that Arsenal were ranked 17th in the league for goals, 18th for shots on target but also 20th for chances created.
He also added a caption: "If you create chances..." in an apparent dig at the Spanish manager and the creators in the team.
