Ansu Fati is just 17 years of age, but his performance in Spain's 4-0 win over Ukraine was the type of influential display of someone much older.
What was his overall outing like in this Nations League match?
📷 Fati: Match Snapshot
In the first half at least Fati produced multiple moments of class.
PEN WON ⏱️ 4' After just four minutes of the match his direct run on the left committed the defender and rightly won his side a penalty, which captain Sergio Ramos duly converted.
Moments later he went on another run, nutmegging his full-back and driving towards goal, but slotting his shot just wide of the far post and moments later his overhead kick from close range was blocked on the line.
⚽ ⏱️ 23' And on 23 minutes he showed great speed of thought and movement to swivel on the edge of the area and curl a wonderful shot in the far corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance.
With the match won, Fati's performance slowed down in the second half, though he was close to adding a fourth from close range.
But with this goal, on his first full international performance, became the youngest scorer in the history of La Roja, at 17 years and 311 days.

Fati: What Next?
Quite simply the onus is on Barcelona and Ronald Koeman to make him a regular starter. Fati has all the attributes to be a top player in the modern game but has only been used sparingly by Barca up until this point.
Surely we'll see a lot more of the winger next season?
