Ansu Fati's star continues to rise and the Barcelona wide forward was in scintillating form, making light work of Villarreal in a comfortable 4-0 victory.

But what was Fati's overall performance like?

📷 Ansu Fati: Match Snapshot

In Koeman's new-look setup, Fati started on the left alongside Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann. and he was given the freedom of the pitch on that side, wreaking havoc whenever possible.

⏱️ 15' Jordi Alba burst to the touchline and flicked the ball to the edge of the area to find Fati standing alone, who was able to slot first-time into the top corner at real pace.

⏱️ 19' And just four minutes later he had another great finish, this time being set up by a long Philippe Coutinho run into Villarreal territory before laying in Fati, who rolled into the corner in style.

And then it was Fati's direct running into the area that drew a challenge from Mario Gaspar, who tripped him as he looked to cross. Lionel Messi duly slotted the penalty into the net to make it three.

Fati's ruthless finishing is somewhat underrated at the moment and the more goals he scores, the more this will become apparent.
