Ansu Fati was given his first post-lockdown start for Barcelona in their match at Camp Nou against Leganes, where the Catalan side recorded a very comfortable, if slightly below-par, 2-0 victory.

In the first half Barcelona were really struggling to break down an away side sitting extremely deep and compact, not letting Fati get in behind and get involved in the match at all.

But he provided the pivotal moment of the half, reacting fastest to Junior Firpo causing issues in the Leganes area to drill a first-time shot low into the far right corner of the net.

It was a goal that was vital, arriving just before half-time and gave Barcelona the platform to go on and enjoy a comfortable victory.

Fati was substituted at the beginning of the second half having played 54 minutes, recording 49 touches in that time. He scored with his only shot on goal, but what was most impressive was his four completed dribbles in such a short period of time on the pitch.
