Luis Enrique has announced his Spain squad for next month and has injected some youth into the group, with various players like Adama Traore and Ansu Fati set to make their debuts.

At the start of September Spain will face Germany and then Ukraine in two Nations League matches.

Over the past few years La Roja has enjoyed one of the most star-studded national squads in the world, but with players from their golden era ageing Enrique has opted for some experimentation.

As well as Fati and Traore, other fresh faces being brought into the squad are Eric Garcia, Oscar Rodriguez, Unai Simon, Mikel Merino, and new Manchester City signing Ferran Torres.

Squad in full:

Goalkeepers: De Gea, Kepa, Unai Simon

Defenders: Navas, Carvajal, Ramos, Pau Torres, Llorente, Gaya, Reguilon, Garcia

Midfielders: Fabian Ruiz, Thiago, Busquets, Rodri, Merino, Olmo, Rodriguez

Forwards: Rodrigo, Oyarzabal, Traore, Asensio, Fati, Ferran
