Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will celebrate his 100th game in charge of the club this weekend when the Gunners face Watford at the Emirates.

It has been an up and down season so far for Arsenal as they started in terrible form, losing all three of their opening three fixtures against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Since the loss against City, though, they have went on a run of nine matches undefeated, even if that run did include disappointing draws against Brighton and Crystal Palace.

They are currently sixth in the Premier League, having accumulated the same amount of points as Manchester United.

This weekend they face a Watford side who are just getting to grips with a new manager in Claudio Ranieri.

Arteta will have pretty much a full squad at his disposal with the exception of Granit Xhaka who remains a long-term absentee.

The Spaniard confirmed that Kieran Tierney is in line to return after missing a handful of games due to a bruised ankle.

Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal behind a back four of Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel and Tierney.

Arsenal have garnered success changing to a 4-4-2 recently and they could stick with that versus the Hornets.

That means Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka will feature on the wings, with Thomas Partey and Albert Sambi Lokonga in central midfield.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette will start up top, with Martin Odegaard again having to settle for a place on the bench.
