Serie A team news: How Juventus and Milan could line up

This is a game that both Juventus and Milan can ill-afford to lose in the race for the Champions League, with both in a patchy run of form

Andrea Pirlo will look once again to Cristiano Ronaldo to help the Bianconeri over the line, whilst Milan coach Stefano Pioli will hope Zlatan Ibrahimovic can find his scoring boots after a barren spell.

The big news for Juventus is that winger Federico Chiesa is returning to the side following his hamstring injury that's ruled him out for the last several weeks.

Pirlo looks set to retain most of the side that squeezed past Udinese last weekend, thanks to a brace from Ronaldo late in the game.

The defence, comprising of Danilo, Matthijs de Ligt, Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro, will likely start.

Chiesa will replace Federico Bernardeschi on the left wing for Juventus. Elsewhere, Weston McKennie will be replaced by Adrien Rabiot. Juan Cuadrado and Rodrigo Bentancur are likely to keep their places.

Pirlo started Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala last weekend against Udinese, but the Argentine looks set to be dropped in favour of Alvaro Morata for the game against Milan.

Milan, meanwhile, are expected to make some changes from their 2-0 win against Benevento last weekend.

Davide Calabria is expected to return at right-back for Diogo Dalot. Simon Kjaer is expected to make way for Alessio Romagnoli in the heart of the Milan defence, and will play alongside Fikayo Tomori.

In midfield, Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will occupy the double pivot positions in midfield.

Ante Rebic is expected to return to the line up, replacing Rafael Leao in one of the attacking positions.

Hakan Calhanoglu and Alexis Saelemakers will retain their places from last week.

Ibrahimovic will lead the line for the Rossoneri.
