Liverpool return to Anfield this Saturday to face Brighton & Hove Albion, aiming to bounce back in the Premier League after last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal. A win here, coupled with a favourable result in the Man City game, could see the Reds reclaim the top spot.

Brighton, however, are also looking for points as they aim to solidify their position in the league’s upper tier after a mixed run of results.

Liverpool's Recent Form

The Reds have maintained an impressive record this season, especially at Anfield, where they have won four consecutive matches. Last week's draw with Arsenal has been the only interruption to an otherwise strong domestic run.

Injury and Team News

Liverpool remain without key players including Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, and Federico Chiesa, all expected to return post-international break.

Conor Bradley’s return provides more defensive options, and manager Arne Slot will likely rotate players, bringing back Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk among others for the clash.

Last Liverpool Lineup

Here is how Liverpool lined up for their last league match:

Brighton's Recent Form

Brighton’s current form has been inconsistent, and their defensive struggles have been evident in recent matches, including a 2-2 draw with Wolves and a narrow loss to Liverpool in the EFL Cup midweek.

However, they continue to be an attacking threat, with prolific goalscorers like Danny Welbeck and Evan Ferguson in their ranks.

Injury and Team News

Brighton could miss Lewis Dunk, who has been dealing with a calf issue. Other unavailable players include Joao Pedro and Solly March, adding further defensive strain.

However, Jack Hinshelwood may be set for more minutes, adding fresh energy to Brighton's midfield.

Here is how Brighton lined up for their last league match:

Betting Tips

Tip 1: Both Teams to Score

With Brighton’s high-scoring games and Liverpool’s attacking lineup, goals on both sides are likely.
