Manchester United travel to Molineux to take on Wolves in the final Premier League game of the season on Sunday afternoon.

Although nothing is riding on the match for either side, with second place already secured for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, the Old Trafford outfit will be desperate to build some momentum heading into Wednesday night's Europa League final.

It's been a tough few weeks for the Red Devils following a season of steady progress, with back-to-back defeats at the hands of Leicester City and bitter rivals Liverpool preceding a disappointing draw at home to already relegated Fulham.

With a perfect opportunity to end the club's longest trophy drought in over 30 years set to take place in midweek, it's been a far from ideal build-up to the showpiece event.

United, therefore, will be keen to end their three-game winless run when they face Nuno Espirito Santo's side over the weekend, and it should make for an entertaining encounter.

The biggest decision Solskjaer has to make is who starts between the sticks. David de Gea and Dean Henderson have been battling for the No. 1 spot all season, and the Spaniard seems to have returned to first-choice after his understudy put in a terrible display against Liverpool.

It's anyone's guess who will get the nod against Wolves, but De Gea put in an error-free performance last time out, so will be hopeful of keeping his place in the starting XI.

Ahead of the 30-year-old shot-stopper is likely to be a back four full of changes. Harry Maguire is still recovering from injury, while the likes of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof may be rested for the Europa League final.

That should give Alex Telles, Brandon Williams, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe another chance to impress from the off as the quartet look to prove their credentials for the future.

In midfield, Scott McTominay is carrying a knock and is unlikely to be risked for this one, meaning Nemanja Matic is set to partner Fred in the centre of the pitch.

Injuries to Anthony Martial and Dan James leave Solksjaer with few options in the attacking third.

The importance of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford is likely to see Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata get a rare run-out, while Norwegian boss may also hand teenage prodigy Amad Diallo a second Premier League start to preserve Edinson Cavani.
