Borussia Dortmund claimed their first piece of silverware in four years after they confidently overcame RB Leipzig in the final of the DFB Pokal by three goals to one.
In one of Julian Nagelsmann’s remaining games before departing for Bayern Munich in the summer, it was rookie head coach Edin Terzic that got his tactics spot on and ensured his side lifted the cup.

Jadon Sancho has really looked like his old self in the second half of the season for Dortmund and he was once again at his very best against RB Leipzig on Thursday night.
The England international has never lost to the Saxony side and showed his intent to keep it that way with a tremendously well placed shot into the right corner just five minutes into the game.
Sancho then doubled his tally for the night just a few moments before the break when Dortmund overcame RB Leipzig’s offside trap, allowing Marco Reus to run through on goal and pass the ball to the winger to knock it into an empty net.
