Erling Haaland has stolen the Norwegian headlines with his stunning performances for Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, but Norway can be proud of another prolific striker this season, with Alexander Sorloth breaking all kinds of records at Trabzonspor.

At the age of 24, he feels like a veteran compared to Haaland, but the Crystal Palace loanee is actually a young striker himself, and his magnificent form in the Super Lig should be exciting for the Eagles fans as well.

Trabzonspor are leading in a very tight title race, just ahead of Istanbul Basaksehir on goal difference, while Galatasaray and Sivasspor are also in contention. They haven't won the title since 1984, and Sorloth makes them dream big again.

With 19 goals and seven assists in 26 matches, he is at times unstoppable, with his physical force in the penalty area generating fear in opposition defenders. "If Liverpool can do it in 2020, so can we", Trabzonspor fans claim.

Contrary to Liverpool, their season still continues, albeit with empty stands. But for how long?
