Messi plans to report to Barcelona training session on Monday
Lionel Messi will report to Ronald Koeman's first training session as Barcelon head coach on Monday, reports from Argentina have confirmed.
According to channel Tyc, who had on Tuesday reported the news that Messi had sent his now-famous fax to the club that he wanted to leave, the player has no intention to exacerbate the situation further.
As a result he will report to the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despi to conduct his routine coronavirus testing, before attending Koeman's session on 1730CET the following day.
It is thought that Messi is keen to stay calm and see how the situation develops. He has made his thoughts abundantly clear about leaving, but wants to be sure that the club will grant his wish by remaining professional.

Furthermore, the situation regarding Messi's alleged contract clause remains fundamentally unclear.
Messi's representatives believe that the stipulation that allows him to exit his contract for free is still valid because of the coronavirus crisis and the disruption it has cause.
However, Barcelona remain confident that the clause has expired as of the end of May, and that the release clause stands at 700m, meaning the club will be able to demand a fee from the buying club should he wish to leave.
