About Competition

Founded in 1902, the Norwegian Football Cup is the most prestigious club cup competition in Norway. The tournament runs from April to December and is open to professional and amateur teams. It is a straight knockout format with teams being drawn against each other from the first round all the way to the final, which usually takes place at a different stadium each year. Two hundred and seventy-two teams enter the tournament each season, with Odd having won the most titles (12).
