Juventus 2-0 Bologna Player Ratings: Cuadrado the assist king, Arthur shines

Arthur Melo scored a rare goal as Juventus claimed a much-needed 2-0 win over Bologna in Turin on Sunday.

The Brazilian found the net with a deflected first-half effort before Weston McKennie headed home after the break as the Bianconeri bounced back from last week's comprehensive 2-0 defeat to Scudetto rivals Inter.

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Arthur: 7.8

The Brazilian was a high-profile signing for Juventus this summer but has struggled to make an impact in the first half of the season.

However, this week he has finally started to suggest that he could become a key player for the Bianconeri. He was outstanding against Napoli in the Supercoppa win in midweek and was decisive again versus Bologna.

He broke the deadlock with a deflected effort and controlled the midfield throughout his time on the field. His pass completion rate was 92% and he had more passes into the final third than anyone else before he was substituted. He also created one big chance as he sent a message to those who say he only passes the ball sideways and backwards.

❌ BAD PERFORMANCE

Dejan Kulusevski: 5.7

There is no doubt that the young Sweden international is set for a big future in the game but he is going through a bit of a difficult run right now.

He started in attack alongside Ronaldo but, despite lots of effort, failed to make an impact with no shots, no chances created and only one dribble.

⭐ STAR MAN

Juan Cuadrado: 8.9

Cuadrado continues to be Juventus' most creative player this season. His assist for Weston McKennie's headed goal means he now has nine assists between Serie A and the Champions League this season. No player has more assists in Europe's premier club competition.

The Colombian was a constant threat against Bologna. He had a game-high four dribbles, created a game-high three big chances, had four shots, five crosses and never stopped running.

He may turn 33 this season but he remains a top player.
