TAKE MY MONEY, CHELSEA

Frank Lampard's Chelsea side comfortably progressed to the next round of the FA cup this weekend after a 2-0 win at home to Nottingham Forest, but their attire generated just as much chat as the result. To pay homage to their FA Cup win against Leeds 50 years ago, the club teamed with Nike to produce a stunning, new blue kit with the retro yellow socks like the one which was worn in the replay of the 1970 final. It certainly is a cracker.

ZLATAN BESMIRCHED...AGAIN!

Malmo fans really, really dont like former hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic anymore. After their former player announced he would be purchasing a stake in their rivals, Hammarby, they responded by vandalising a statue in tribute to the Swede which was situated outside their stadium. Now, the Malmo ultras have taken things one step further and have actually toppled the statue down completely. Dare to topple Zlatan, more like.

500 APPEARANCES FOR NAVAS

Sevilla may have only managed a 1-1 draw at home to Athletic, but it was still a memorable occasion for Jesus Navas as the Spaniard made his 500th appearance for the Andalusian side. Apart from a spell at Manchester City in between, he has been a stalwart for Sevilla over the past decade, and was honoured with a commemorative plaque and shirt before the match by club president Jose Castro.

PYRO. PARTY

The Derby of Thessaloniki between Aris and PAOK was a typically subdued affair pre-match with both sets of fans and players exchanging gentlemanly pleasantries. Nah, not really, but who wants that anyway? What we want, is the most outrageous pyro of the decade...

THE FRENCH ASSEMBLY LINE KEEPS ON MOVING

Football in France returned after a short winter break with the Coupe de France, pitting elite teams against lower league teams once again. This presented opportunities for some unknown faces to feature for the bigger clubs, with two in particular impressing. 16-year-old Rayan Cherki came on to score for Lyon in the 7-0 drubbing of Bourg Peronnas, while PSG introduced the world to 17-year-old Adil Aouchiche, who has been tipped for big, big things with the Parisiens.
