Pep Guardiola could welcome Sergio Aguero back into his starting XI when Manchester City take on Olympiakos in the Champions League this midweek.

The former Atletico striker has missed a string of games through injury, but made his return to the City squad for the weekend's match against Tottenham, which they lost 2-0.

Aguero didn't come off the bench, so should be good to start this one if Pep thinks he is ready.

Raheem Sterling pulled out of England duty with injury, but returned to action for the Spurs game with his club.

Unlike Aguero, Sterling did make an appearance off the substitute's bench.

Nathan Ake will not feature, but Oleksandr Zinchenko, Benjamin Mendy, and Fernandinho have all travelled.

Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker have not made the trip.

With nobody from Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez, Ferran Torres, and Gabriel Jesus impressing too much against Tottenham, Guardiola could make some switches in advanced areas.

Ilkay Gundogan could come into midfield alongside Rodri as a replacement for De Bruyne.

Phil Foden is pushing for a start, as is Sterling and Aguero, so we might see an altered forward line from the one which started versus Jose Mourinho's side.
