Arjen Robben is still scoring even at the age of 36, as his struck his first goal since returning to Groningen on Sunday.

The former PSV, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich winger made the decision to return to his first home for the forthcoming season, after his contract at Bayern had expired.

It was thought that the Dutchman may have been ready to hang up his boots, but has instead chose to play for at least one more year.

He was expected to make his debut against PEC Zwolle last month but chose to spend more time getting himself fit and ready for action, telling Groningen's official site: "I want to get even fitter before I start competitions. I had a very good training week, where I was able to do things to 100 per cent.
