Leeds set to sign Rodrigo from Valencia for €30m
Leeds will complete the signing of Rodrigo from Valencia within the next couple of days, subject to a medical, for a fee of €30m.
Since winning the Championship and achieving promotion to the Premier League, Marcelo Bielsa has prioritised the recruitment of a starting centre-forward, with Patrick Bamford set drop down the pecking order.
Leeds have already made five signings in the close season so far; Jack Harrison (loan), Joe Gelhardt, Illan Meslier, Helder Costa, Charlie Allen, and Cody Drameh.

The exit of Rodrigo from Valencia comes due to their current financial status, as they have already led club captain Dani Parejo and Francis Coquelin leave for Villarreal for a combined fee of just €15m.
Shortly after those two players were sold, Valencia fans put plans in place for a protest outside the Mestalla.
Only a year ago, Rodrigo was linked with a €60m transfer for Atletico Madrid which didn't materialise in the end, while Barcelona were interested in January when Luis Suarez got injured.
Valencia confirmed his exit via their Twitter page:
"Valencia CF want to thank Rodrigo Moreno for his commitment and effort over the last six seasons - in which he helped to win a Cup title. We wish him all the best in this new stage of his career at @LUFC."
