Xavi could hand a start to Ousmane Dembele for this weekend's La Liga encounter against Real Betis at Camp Nou.
The Frenchman is yet to start a game this season after picking up an injury in the summer, though he has made recent appearances off the bench versus Dynamo Kyiv, Benfica and Villarreal.
Dembele's Barca career has been ravaged by injuries and so the club have been careful with the amount of minutes he has been given since his return.
Betis could finally be the match where he is unleashed from the start, however.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen will start in goal behind a probably back four of Eric Garcia, Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo and Jordi Alba.
Alba was taken off against Villarreal with a slight muscular issue but it is believed he will be passed fit to start.
Garcia was preferred at right-back to Sergino Dest in Barca's last game and could continue on the wing.
Nico, Frenkie de Jong and Sergio Busquets will start in midfield.
Should Dembele be passed fit, he will feature in the attack alongside Gavi and Memphis Depay.
That will mean youngster Abde Ezzalzouli dropping to the bench.
