Sheffield United's Aaron Ramsdale and Leeds United's Illan Meslier have made the most errors leading to direct goalscoring chances in the Premier League in 2020/21.
Both players have made four mistakes that have led to opportunities for the opposition team to score, while one of these errors each has directly led to a goal.
That amount of errors leading to a goalscoring opportunity is double that of anyone else in the Premier League, if those two are viewed as joint-top.
Both players are within two of the poorest defences in the league this season, with Sheffield Utd rock bottom of the table with just two points taken so far this season, conceding 29 goals in 17 games.
Leeds, although praised for their flair going forward, still concede far too often, with 33 goals let in within their opening 17 games.
Below those two, there are four players who have made two errors directly leading to goalscoring chances for the opposition - Kalvin Phillips, Ben Davies, Jordan Pickford and, strangely, Jack Grealish.
Grealish is certainly an interesting entry due to his status as an attacking midfielder, meaning that he was likely responsible for allowing a chance on goal from a set-piece or losing possession in a key area in his own final third.
