Manchester City have agreed a deal with Valencia for the transfer of Ferran Torres.

The two clubs were in negotiations on Wednesday, with an eventual fee of €27m being enough for City to land the talented winger.

Valencia were initially holding out for a fee of €45m, but have accepted the initial €27m plus add-ons, while they are looking to cash in on the player as he enters the last year of his contract.

Torres has been linked with a move to the Premier League runners-up for a while now, with rumours intensifying after Leroy Sane left to join Bayern Munich, leaving Guardiola slightly short in the wide positions.

In November, the 20-year-old became the youngest player in Valencia’s history to play 50 La Liga matches, and is also the youngest player in their history to score in the Champions League,

Personal terms have also been agreed between the club and player, as Torres will sign a contract until 2025.
