Aubameyang to return - How Arsenal could line-up against Wolves

Mikel Arteta will likely restore his strongest starting XI for the game against Wolves after resting many of his players mid-week.

The Gunners comfortably saw off Norwegian outfit Molde on Thursday night, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and many others rested.

Aubameyang is likely to start as centre forward for Arsenal, as both he and the team attempt to break their recent inability to score goals - at least in the Premier League.

This could mean that Alexander Lacazette starts from the bench for Arsenal.

Reiss Nelson impressed against Molde on Thursday night, and Arteta could hand the young winger a Premier League start against Wolves.

Willian didn't feature in the win over Molde, but the Brazilian is expected to return for the clash with Wolves.

Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka are also expected to come back into the fold, and start in central midfield for Arteta's side.

Defender Rob Holding replaced David Luiz mid-way through the win over Molde on Thursday night, and could play from the off on Sunday.

Thomas Partey reportedly has a 50-50 chance of playing. If he does, he will slot in behind Ceballos and Xhaka in that defensive midfield position.

Hector Bellerin is expected to return to the side in his usual right-back position.

Joe Willock and Edward Nketiah could come off the bench for Arsenal should things get tricky against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

Bukayo Saka is doubtful for Arsenal due to a thigh problem.
