Carlo Ancelotti has compared Seamus Coleman to Paolo Maldini, John Terry, and Sergio Ramos with regards to his leadership as a captain.
The Irishman was signed by the Toffees in 2009 from Sligo Rovers for a fee of £60,000 and has developed into one of the most consistent right-backs of the last 10 years in the Premier League, as well as the Everton captain.
Ancelotti, meanwhile, has had almost unmatched success around Europe as manager of some of the world's biggest clubs including Milan, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and PSG.
Throughout his tenures at those clubs, he has worked with modern greats of the game who are considered some of the best of all time.

He reckons Coleman's name belongs in their company, too.
"Seamus is doing really well," the Italian said.
"He is an example for all the others of how you need to be. The attitude, the spirit -- every day.
"I've had a lot of captains in my career but how Seamus expresses his love for the shirt is really top.
"He is a great captain, honestly.
"I don't want to forget anyone [I have worked with] but he is up there as a captain with [Paolo] Maldini, John Terry and Sergio Ramos."
Everton have enjoyed a superb start to their 2020/21 Premier League campaign, having won their opening three matches against Tottenham, West Brom, and then Crystal Palace away on Saturday.
