TOP FIVE PERFORMERS

The Argentine forward tops the standings this week as his two goals and an assist helped Manchester City put Brighton to the sword with an emphatic 4-0 victory on Saturday. His two efforts were of the highest quality; the first saw him receive the ball to feet inside the box before jinking past two despairing tackles, allowing him to rifle a strike into the top right corner. The second was even better as he curled a beautiful strike high into the net from the edge of the area.A predatory performance was topped off with a neat assist for Bernardo Silva, who received the ball to the left of the box to score.
Richarlison has taken a few games to get going this season, but burst into life against Wolves on Sunday as he scored his first two league goals of the campaign. He opened the scoring at Goodison park with a bouncing strike into the roof of the net after some poor defending from the visitors, and netted the winner, too, glancing a lovely header into the bottom corner.
Jamie Vardy was in typical effervescent form against Bournemouth as he registered two goals and an assist versus the Cherries. The first encapsulated him perfectly, running in behind the defence with pace before lobbing a beautiful strike over the helpless goalkeeper. The second goal was from close range, while the assist was superbly set-up for Youri Tielemans after some neat footwork inside the box.
The Manchester City conductor opened up the Brighton defence time and time against during the 4-0 victory for the champions on Saturday. The visitors simply could not handle his passing round the corners, while Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero both benefited from an assist each from their captain.
Arthur Masuaku caused mayhem down the left wing all afternoon for West Ham on Saturday as Manuel Pellegrini’s outfit comfortably dispatched of Norwich. The 25-year-old was energetic and effective on the touchline, providing width for the team and ammunition for the strikers, which paid off when he assisted the opening goal for Sebastian Haller.
