Nicolas Pepe enjoyed his best game in an Arsenal shirt so far as he scored one and assisted two others in the Gunners' 4-0 home victory versus Newcastle on Sunday.

Although he was relatively quiet in the first half, as space opened up so did opportunities for him to influence the game, which is what he did for the opener with a superb, whipped cross to the back post for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to head across into the corner.

Then he would do something he has been criticised for not doing in the past - making runs from the wing into the centre for goalscoring opportunities - to earn his goal with a flashed finish after some terrific work from Bukayo Saka.

He had the opportunity for another goal late on, but unselfishly opted to square sideways for a tap-in for Alexandre Lacazette.

The Ivorian worked hard, too, making 10 ball recoveries.

Son Heung-Min continues to pick up the goalscoring slack in the absence of Harry Kane for Spurs, as it was his two goals, including the winner in the last minute, which proved vital to the 3-2 win at Villa.

He scored his first in fortuitous circumstances as he converted the rebound after his penalty was saved by Pepe Reina.

The game was at a 2-2 stalemate for 40 minutes in the second half, but he emerged as the match winner after taking advantage of a misjudgement from a Villa defender to run through on goal to coolly finish into the right corner.

In the final Premier League game of the weekend, Manchester United impressively won 2-0 away at Chelsea to close the gap to the Blues in the race for the top four.

Harry Maguire put in a true captain's performance for his side, battling hard at both ends of the pitch.

He continually displayed his threat from set-pieces, and eventually made it 2-0 with a beauty of a header from a Bruno Fernandes corner.

In helping to curb Chelsea attacks, he won 6/9 duels and made eight ball recoveries, five interceptions, and nine clearances.
