Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers, who has been linked with the Chelsea post, saw goals from Wilfred Ndid and James Maddison secure his first victory over the Stamford Bridge club in 15 previous matches.
The talking point, though, was Chelsea’s lamentable display that may just be Lampard’s last in the dugout.

He achieved this feat with some style, providing his team with plenty of ideas in the final third of the field and netting a fine second goal for his side.
Although he attempted only 27 passes, he completed 93% of these, nine of which came in the final third of the park.
His display typified Leicester: efficient and clinical.

Only moments after Chelsea were denied a penalty by VAR, Leicester took the lead thanks to a cracking long-range strike from the midfielder. When the ball broke to him at the edge of the box, he sent a fierce shot zipping through a crowd of players and into the net via a satisfying clunk of the post.
Otherwise, he gave a solid defensive display in the middle of the pitch, making over 90% of his passes, completing two interceptions and recovering the ball on four occasions.
Additionally, he won both his tackles as well as his share of headers and physical duels.
His goal may have been showy, but his overall display was steady.
