La Liga Team of the Week, Round 15: Pique shuts out Atleti

The Spain international and Lionel Messi ensured victory against Atletico

Barcelona reclaimed their position at the top of La Liga on Sunday night after Real Madrid temporarily took top spot, following a narrow 1-0 win away at Atletico Madrid. Lionel Messi (8.7) was the match-winner with the only goal, but Gerard Pique (9) was the Blaugrana's best player with his performance at the back.

The Argentine is joined in attack by Martin Odegaard (8.9) who recorded a goal and an assist for Real Sociedad, with his goal proving to be one of the best of the weekend. Rodrigo (8.1) completes the forward line after his strike against Villarreal.

In midfield, Toni Kroos (8) features alongside Unai Lopez (8.5) and Andre Zambo Anguissa (8.9), who scored Villareal's consolation in the loss against Valencia.

Another Real Madrid player, Dani Carvajal (8.1), slots in at right-back, with Diego Carlos (7.8) in beside Pique in central defence.

Pervis Estupinan (8) recorded an assist in Osasuna's impressive 4-2 away with at Espanyol, while Jasper Cillessen (8.3) made six saves, including one from a Gerard Moreno penalty, for Valencia against Villarreal.
