Henrikh Mkhitaryan recorded his eighth assist of the season at the weekend as he set-up Lorenzo Pellegrini for a goal in Roma's 2-2 draw against Inter in Serie A.
The Armenian now leads the standings in Italy, but remains three assists behind the leader from the top five leagues combined, Harry Kane.
Kane remains on 11 assists for the campaign, with he and every other player from the Premier League not having the opportunity to add to their tally this weekend due to the round of FA Cup fixtures. That meant that another one of his closest challengers, Kevin De Bruyne, remained three behind on eight.
Thomas Muller was fairly uninspiring in Bayern's 3-2 defeat against Gladbach, and didn't add to his eight.
There were two players from the Bundesliga who made it on to the leaderboard, though, as Leverkusen's Nadiem Amiri and Gladbach's Jonas Hofmann both secured their sixth assists of the 2020/21 season.
In Italy, Marcelo Brozovic made the leaderboard after his sixth, too.
Jonathan Bamba and Florian Thauvin went on to seven each for the season, having been on our list since the start of the campaign.

To calculate the 2020/21 European Assist King, we will focus on the top five leagues to keep things simple (for now) and track which players have provided the most assists in each respective league.
There will be no coefficients or scales used - just ranking the most goals created by each player in the top five leagues condensed into a single table.
