Paris Saint-Germain travel to Germany to face RB Leipzig in the return leg of their previous Champions League group stage game.

The Parisians may have been victorious against Leizpig two weeks ago, but they were extremely fortunate to walk away with three points after the Bundesliga side dominated the affair.

PSG will now also be without summer signing Lionel Messi after he was forced off at half-time against Lille at the weekend.

He was already a doubt for that game, and playing the first-half seemed to exaggerate the injury. The length of his absence is currently unknown, but he will certainly miss this game.

One positive for Mauricio Pochettino is the fact that Kylian Mbappe will be fit. He has suffered from an ear infection, but has been cleared to play. Neymar may have gone down several times against Lille, but the Brazilian is also fit, and will join Mbappe, and most likely Angel Di Maria in attack.

Di Maria was arguably PSG's best player in their win over Lille, with the Argentine taking a huge six shots, and creating five key passes during the game - both match highs - while assisting the equaliser, and scoring the 88th minute winner.

He and his manager will be hoping he can continue that form against Leipzig, who are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt. Amadou Haidara is expected to feature despite a host of Premier League clubs being interested in his signature.

How will PSG line up?

Perhaps the biggest question is who will play in goal. Pochettino has used both Keylor Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma this season, but Navas has been preferred in Europe, so he's the best bet to start in between the sticks.

Achraf Hakimi missed the Ligue 1 game at the weekend through suspension, but he'll return at right-back, with Nuno Mendes also returning on the other flank.

Juan Bernat may have started against Lille, but after his injury, the club won't want to rush him back too quickly.

Sergio Ramos is still missing, so Marquinhos and Presnel Kimpembe will continue their partnership at the back.

Marco Verratti is once more injured, as is Leandro Paredes, so Idrissa Gueye, Ander Herrera, and Georginio Wijnaldum are the trio most likely to be selected.

Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria will complete the starting XI.
