Best Of The Rest Top Five: Oussama Idrissi bags two for AZ

AZ continued their superb recent form at the weekend and made it six consecutive Eredivisie wins in a row after brushing aside Zwolle, 4-0. Oussama Idrissi had a hand in all three goals as he scored two and set up another. The assist came first as he cut inside into the box from the left wing to lay into the path of Myron Boadu who finished calmly. His next two goals came next, and both were superb, with the first being whipped into the left corner from 25 yards with his cultured right foot, and the second being slammed into the top corner from inside the area. He also completed more dribbles than anyone else in the Bundesliga apart from Peter van Ooijen, with eight.

Servette pulled off a hugely impressive 5-0 away victory versus FC Zurich, with Park Jung-bin scoring an excellent hat-trick. All three goals were strikingly similar and came from near enough the same position after he made drifting runs in from the left wing. Each was fired with intensity into the right corner, with the first going low and the next two going high into the top bag, giving the goalkeeper no chance.

Tambov beat Orenburg 3-0 on Saturday and Georgi Melkadze proved to be the star of the show after he set up two of the goals and worked his socks off. His first assist came 20 minutes into the second period as he slid a wonderful pass through the middle, while his second was brilliantly unselfish as he went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, only to square sideways for Anton Kilin to pass into the empty net. He also made nine ball recoveries, three interceptions, and won 100% of his tackles.

Park Jung-bin will take most of the headlines following Servette's victory over Zurich, but he wouldn't have scored his hat-trick if not for Timothe Cognat who assisted the second and third goals for the home side, including one for Park. His passing was also solid as he completed 42 out of 53 balls to team-mates, including 19 passes into the final third. Defensively, he made nine ball recoveries, three interceptions, one clearance, and won 100% of his attempted tackles.

Fenerbahce bounced back from two consecutive draws with a comprehensive 5-2 defeat of Genclerbirligi on Friday, with Vedat Muriqi scoring two in the first half. After the visitors took the lead early on, he later equalised with a superb, glancing header into the bottom left corner after a lofted cross from the right from Mauricio Isla. Luis Gustavo then scored from range before Muriqi got his second in unconventional fashion. After a heavy touch from the defender, he slides in opportunistically to win possession inside the box before poking a finish beyond the oncoming goalkeeper. He was a handful in other areas, too, winning the majority of his aerial duels, and making four ball recoveries, one interception, and one clearance for his side.
