✔️ Danny Welbeck: 7.5

Thirteen years after his first Premier League goal on this very ground, Danny Welbeck scored his 50th at the same end.

The former Manchester United man gleefully celebrated opening the scoring against his former club, powering down a header which was saved by Dean Henderson, and he was able to bundle home the rebound.

But he worked tirelessly throughout for his side and was perhaps a touch unfortunate not to be given a penalty in the second half after Harry Maguire appeared to tackle him from behind at close range.

❌ Edinson Cavani: 5.5

It was another outing for Cavani where he looked as if he was playing a different version of the game from the rest of his team-mates.

Cavani just doesn't ever look as if he will be suited to this team, particularly when the opposition are playing in a defensive fashion and are organised in a low block.

He doesn't seem to have the movement, or indeed the will, in matches like this and United look a better attacking unit when he isn't involved.

⭐ Bruno Fernandes: 8.2

Even in matches where his influence appears low key, Fernandes remains the one utterly reliable creative outlet in the Manchester United side.

At United toiled to create chances, Fernandes was the one trying to make things happen from every position, and deservedly got his assist with a well-timed pass into the path of Marcus Rashford - the fifth goal he has provided his team-mate this season.

All in all Fernandes' influence over this team cannot be underestimated and in a game where a result seemed difficult to foresee at half-time, he was the one that got his team moving - once again.
