PSG 0-1 Lille Player Ratings: Neymar sent off as David blows Ligue 1 open
Lille regained the upper hand in the Ligue 1 title race from Paris Saint-Germain with a shock 1-0 success over the defending champions at Parc des Princes.
Jonathan David got the only goal of the game midway through the first half, though both teams came close to striking again.
While PSG exerted pressure, Lille were a menace on the break and either side could have netted.
Against all expectations, though, it was Lille who prevailed.

The Canadian striker was signed for big money in the summer by Lille to replace Victor Osimhen, and while he has not produced the same volume of goals as the Nigerian, he popped up with what might have been one of their most important in years.
Latching onto a cutback from Jonathan Ikone midway through the first half, his shot was deflected home.
By that point, he was already carrying an ankle injury that ultimately forced him off.

Starting a match for the first time in nearly two months, Neymar cut a frustrated figure for PSG. He was persistently brushed off the ball, and when he did manage to get more prominently involved, it was an afternoon on which nothing came off for the Brazil international.
Nearly illuminated the early stages with a brilliant left-footed volley, but it flew wide. Later, he had an excellent headed chance miss the target. It was PSG’s best opening of the day.
In the final minute, he was sent off for challenging Tiago Djalo after the ball had gone dead.
⭐ Benjamin Andre: 7.6
Benjamin Andre may not be the most fashionable of Lille’s players, but he is one of their best. Indeed, more than anyone, he encapsulates the attitude of his team.
Andre is a tigerish presence in the middle of the park, with his discipline and never-say-die attitude integral to the success of his team. And so it would prove at Parc des Princes, where he was the lynchpin of a memorable success.
Like his team, he was absolutely unmoving.
