Kylian Mbappe: 240 minutes and nine shots since last France goal
Kylian Mbappe failed to find the scoresheet for a fourth consecutive game for France as they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0.
Didier Deschamps' men rounded off a good start to their World Cup qualification campaign with a hard-fought win in Sarajevo on Wednesday evening.
However, their main goal threat drew another blank for his country, despite featuring for 90 minutes in a two-man attack alongside matchwinner Antoine Griezmann.
He has now not scored for the World Cup holders since doing so against Croatia in the Nations League in mid-October.
That goal was followed by one shot against Sweden, four shots against Ukraine and three shots against Kazakhstan without the net bulging.
And he managed just one off-target effort against Bosnia on Wednesday to make it nine shots without a goal in a France shirt.
Just three of those attempts have found the target, all three of which came against Kazakhstan but failed to beat the goalkeeper.
It is a barren run that stretches 240 minutes - a remarkably poor return for a player who is averaging a goal every 93 minutes in Ligue 1 this term.
Of course, with France taking an early lead in their qualification group this week, Deschamps won't be too concerned yet.
But he will surely want to see more goals from one of the most talented frontmen in Europe going forward.
