Martial out - How Man Utd could line up against West Ham

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without French striker Anthony Martial after he pulled up during their Europa League clash with Milan.

Martial had started the game on Thursday but was withdrawn at half-time following a muscle injury.

It adds to United's ever-growing injury list.

The good news for Solskjaer is that David De Gea has returned to the club following a brief time in Spain following the birth of his child.

It's uncertain at this stage whether De Gea will go straight into the United starting XI or whether he will continue with Dean Henderson.

The United boss is likely to start most of the same XI that featured against Milan. In defence, Victor Lindelof is expected to replace Eric Bailly. Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are also likely to start. Luke Shaw, who was rested for most of the match against Milan, will come back in as a replacement for Alex Telles.

In midfield, Solskjaer's options are relatively thin, with Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek all out through injury. Fred is likely to start in the middle alongside Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay.

In attack, Solskjaer's options are also threadbare. Mason Greenwood will lead the line due to the absences of Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Martial.

Greenwood will be supported by Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes.
