Still no Ibra - How Milan could line-up against Benevento

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still not fit to play for Milan, and will miss the resumption of Serie A and their clash against Benevento.

Ibrahimovic has been out since late November, when he injured his thigh in the closing stages of their 3-1 win against Napoli.

It's thought that Ibrahimovic is edging closer to a return, but coach Stefano Pioli doesn't want to risk the Swede as of yet, and so is leaving him out of the game away to Benevento.

In defence, Pioli will likely stick with his usual starters. Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli are all expected to start. Left-back Theo Hernandez is out through suspension, so Diogo Dalot will deputise for the Frenchman.

In midfield, Pioli will start with Franck Kessie and Sandro Tonali. The latter in recent games has usurped Ismael Bennacer in the starting XI, and Tonali is expected to get the nod once again.

Pioli intends to use Ante Rebic, Hakan Calhanoglu and Brahim Diaz in the attacking positions. Rebic had played as centre forward in the aftermath of Ibrahimovic's injury, but Pioli has instead decided to deploy him back in his usual position on the left-hand side.

Diaz will start on the right, with Calhanoglu in the middle, behind Rafael Leao, scorer of the fastest goal in Serie A history against Sassuolo in December.
