Barcelona made it four games without defeat on Tuesday evening as they comfortably defeated Real Valladolid 3-0.

Goals from Clement Lenglet, Martin Braithwaite, and Lionel Messi secured all three points as the Blaugrana moved up to fifth, one point adrift of the top four.

So, who were the best and worst performers from both sides?

✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE

Clement Lenglet: 8.7

With Barcelona suffering a plethora of injuries in defence this season, Clement Lenglet has usually been the constant senior presence in the backline, attempting to lead by example.

For the weekend's match against Valencia he found himself dropped after a dip in form.

Against Valladolid he was back in, and proved he could be a threat in the opposition box, latching on to a superb Lionel Messi cross to head home the opener midway through the first half.

Defensively, he won 100% of his attempted tackles and made three interceptions and five ball recoveries.

BAD PERFORMANCE

Shon Weissman: 5.3

Against a poor Barca defence, Weissman failed to register a single shot on goal despite having 17 touches in the final third.

Lost possession three times in good areas when Barcelona were on the backfoot, with his performance being summed up with an attempted spectacular late on when a more conventional finish would have actually been better.

STAR MAN

Lionel Messi: 9.9

Naturally, Messi was Barcelona's best player on the night, involving himself in all three goals.

For Barcelona's opener he sent in the aforementioned cross for Lenglet, and was part of the outstanding build-up for the second as Sergino Dest eventually flashed a cross along the box for Braithwaite to slide home.

Then it was the Argentine's turn to score a deserved goal, as he broke through on goal after a lovely flick from Pedri to emphatically whip a strike into the bottom right corner.

That was one of 11 shots that Messi had on goal on the night, with seven going on target, as he desperately attempted to get on the scoresheet.

He had a huge 14 touches inside the box, too, with everything positive going through him in some way.
