Mourinho 'urges' authorities to look into state of Stoke City away dressing room
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has urged both the football and health authorities to investigate the current state of the Stoke City away dressing room.
Mourinho's side travel to Stoke ahead of Wednesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final clash, and the Portuguese manager confirmed that he's seen footage of the state of the temporary dressing room for away sides visiting the Bet365 Stadium.
"I have a video of it," Mourinho said during his press conference. "A video made from a colleague that works in another team that recently played against them and I was not going to raise the question, you raised that question.
"But I think shouldn't be a question for me, should be a question for the authorities - all the authorities - football authorities, safety authorities, but not for me.
"I'm not going to be the bad guy that is going to make comments about Stoke away dressing room," he continued.
Since football returned to action in June this year, many stadiums across England's top divisions have the away teams use temporary dressing rooms. This is in order to satisfy coronavirus protocols by minimising indoor interactions.
Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock recently criticised the state of the away dressing room at Stoke, saying that it was a "pigsty" and then stating that he "wouldn't have put animals in" it.
Spurs lost in their last Premier League game, 2-0 to Leicester City, and Mourinho will be hoping to secure passage into the semi final of the EFL Cup.
