The Frenchman's goals fired Los Blancos into the last 16 of the Champions League earlier in the month, and once again his early goal set the tone for Madrid to grind out the win.
Even more impressive was his tenaciousness to snake down the goal-line and assist for Luka Modric to smash home, before ensuring a hand in every goal by laying on the clincher for Lucas Vazquez in injury time. He is, quite simply, Real Madrid's most important player.
