Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has won the Best FIFA Men's coach award for 2020.

It's a remarkable achievmenet for the coach, who won the Premier League title for the Anfield club for the first time since 1990.

Klopp had previous success with the Premier League club, having won the Champions League with Liverpool the season before.

Klopp was in good company for the award, with fellow German manager Hansi Flick and Leeds United’s Marcelo Bielsa but was ultimately awarded the title after his team beat all before them.

“I still can’t really explain it, we didn’t struggle too much at home, people may have thought that the atmosphere would make the difference for us but the boys did well and maybe we were working with our long-term memory," said Klopp at the FIFA award ceremony.

"The situation is the most difficult I have ever experienced. It’s just so intense.”
