Ronaldo and Dybala to partner up top - How Juventus could line-up against Atalanta

Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo is expected to start both Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala for the midweek Serie A fixture against Atalanta.

Though Ronaldo would have always started, Dybala played himself into contention to start through his performance at the weekend against Genoa which saw him score the vital opening goal of the match 57 minutes in.

The Argentine has been in and out of the team under Pirlo this campaign, but linked up with Ronaldo impressively, which will probably mean a place on the bench for Alvaro Morata again if Juve play with a five-man midfield.

The goal against Genoa was Dybala's second of the season, but he'll be hoping to put a bit of form together after that confidence boost from the weekend.

At the back, Merit Demieral and Giorgio Chiellini are still doubts, and although the Italian could be fit enough to play, potentially, he will not be 100% which will probably mean Pirlo being patient with his return.

Pirlo usually likes to tinker with at least one of his central midfield players from game to game, which could mean a return to the starting XI for Arthur, potentially as a replacement for Adrien Rabiot, with Weston McKennie and Rodrigo Bentancur retaining their spots.

Whether at right-back or right wingback, Juan Cuadrado is a definite starters these days due to his excellent form.

Federico Chiesa started on the left wing against Genoa, but Pirlo may opt for Dejan Kulusevski against La Dea for that little bit more industry up and down the wing.
