Phil Foden announced himself on the international stage as he scored twice and provided an assist in England's 4-0 win over Iceland.

But how did the Manchester City youngster play overall?

📷 Phil Foden: Match Performance

Foden was at the heart of everything that was good about the hosts' performance from the off at Wembley.

A ⏱️ 20' The 20-year-old whips in a free-kick to the near post where Declan Rice is on hand to flick a header into the far corner.

⏱️ 80' Clever link up between Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho results in the latter cutting back for Foden, who has the simple task of sweeping the ball home from close range.

⏱️ 84' Foden caps a memorable night with a powerful low strike into the corner after working space 25 yards out.

Foden may not have been up against elite opposition in Iceland, but his performance felt like a statement of intent given his tender years. The midfielder took four shots, as well as creating more big chances (2) and completing more dribbles (5) than anyone else on the pitch.
