Neymar told Alvaro: I earn in a day what you earn in a year
Marseille defender Alvaro has revealed that Neymar mocked his inferior salary during the fiery Le Classique clash last month.
In the game between Marseille and PSG, no less than five players saw red, including Neymar, who reacted to Alvaro and claimed he had been racially abused.
No evidence was found of any racial language used by Alvaro, with multiple camera angles and lip-reading experts having already been used to find him not guilty.
Neymar was then subsequently accused of racially abusing Hiroki Sakai, but he was also cleared of any wrongdoing.

Following the match, Alvaro was painted as a racist by Neymar supporters, so much so that he received death threats, according to Marseille. He fully denies the accusations, and has slammed Neymar for his behaviour during the game.
"Neymar told me he earned in one day what I earn in a year, and it's true. I told him I was very happy with my salary," Alvaro told Onda Cero.
"Neymar's whole game that day was unfortunate, full of provocations.
"I did not make any racist insults, I will not allow my football career and myself to be humiliated. Neymar deserves nothing from me, neither my respect nor anything."
Alvaro went on to outline how bad the situation has been for his family, and that he had to stay at home for a month to avoid the abuse and threats.
"We had a bad time, not just me, my family and more. If I had said anything to him, it would have appeared on all the cameras."
"The damage it can do to me and my environment is great. I have not left home for a month."
