Bayern qualified for the final of the Champions League after an eventually comfortable 3-0 win against Lyon, with star striker Robert Lewandowski scoring the third and final goal to seal the victory.
In the first portion of play, Lyon actually looked the more dangerous side and passed up a number of very good opportunities to score, with Karl Toko Ekambi even hitting the post after a mazy run down the right.
Bayern would suckerpunch the French side, though, with Serge Gnabry scoring a beauty with his left foot before earning a second from close range.
Lewandowski would make it 3-0.

For a while, it seemed like it would be a frustrating evening for the Bundesliga top scorer, as he got himself into a few cracking positions only to fluff his lines or miss the ball completely.
For Bayern's second goal which was dispatched a few yards out from Gnabry, it only came to pass after Lewandowski somehow managed to miss an open goal, with his smuggled effort failing to cross the line.
A few minutes after that, he failed to convert a Gnabry cross to the back post.
Throughout this time, though, his build up play was fabulous as he dropped deep, allowing both Gnabry and Thomas Muller to sprint in behind for balls over the top. That became one of the major factors of Bayern's attacking arsenal on the night.
⚽ ⏱️ 88' The game was already dead and buried at this point, but Lewandowski earned his place on the scoresheet with two minutes to go, emphatically glancing a header into the bottom corner after a cross from Joshua Kimmich.

The former Dortmund striker had 57 touches of the ball and misplaced just four passes out of 37, further highlighting his excellent hold up play up top.
He won 9/16 duels and sent 23 passes into the final third, a tally which was only bettered in the two Champions League semis by Angelino of RB Leipzig.
As for touches inside the opposition box, he outperformed everyone with nine.
